Forging is an ancient metalsmithing technique, using a highly polished forging hammer and an anvil. Forging creates graceful organic jewellery with thick to thin sections that look like a hurley.  I used a repousse hammer to add hammer marks creating a contrast of smooth and shiny with textured hammered pieces.
