The Circle of Life – Ciorcal na Beatha

The Circle of Life Collection is inspired by the ancient triskele rock art of Newgrange and the delicate spirals of woodland ferns. What began as a single pendant—commissioned by a gentleman wishing to engrave a meaningful poem for a milestone occasion—naturally evolved into a full collection. Its spiralling circular form evokes the Winter Solstice, capturing Newgrange’s famous alignment with the rising sun on the 21st of December. This collection is my tribute to the extraordinary engineering, artistry, and spiritual connection to light achieved by Irish Neolithic people over 5,000 years ago. Watching my grandchildren grow up in County Meath has deeply reinforced this bond, inspiring a collection that celebrates life’s beautiful, unbroken cycle from beginning to end.
