The domed form is shaped using a dapping block and doming punches before the delicate filigree pattern is carefully pierced out by hand with a jeweller’s saw. The intricate pierced design gives the pendant a beautiful openwork appearance, while the highly polished sterling silver catches the light and highlights the detail. Its elegant half-dome shape gives it a distinctive three-dimensional quality. At 45mm x 18mm, this is a beautiful statement piece for someone who appreciates distinctive jewellery and the craftsmanship that goes into making each piece by hand. Handcrafted in my workshop in Co.
