Description: A unique piece of handcrafted Irish jewellery inspired by Irish dancing, family history and folklore.
The Irish Dancing Cailín earrings were inspired by a letter my late father, Donal Clarke, wrote while at school in 1937. In the letter, he described how to make a homemade toy called “The Irish Dancing Master.” This childhood memory became the inspiration for this jewellery design, bringing together Irish history, family memories and my love of traditional Irish folklore.
Handcrafted in sterling silver in my workshop in Co. Tipperary, these stud drop earrings feature vibrant red garnet and green peridot gemstones, adding colour and sparkle to the design.
It is a distinctive piece of Irish-made jewellery for anyone who loves Irish culture, dancing, folklore or jewellery with a story behind it.
